Plants in Harmony is a spontaneous and organic interaction of harp and plant music. This EP contains a collection of 5 improvisations of processed harp and plant generated sounds. These pieces were originally recorded in one sitting of 40 minutes non-stop improvisation between harpist and a monstera plant.
This recording was done inside a greenhouse full of plants in Austin, TX. The intention for this recording was to create a restorative listening space for listeners.

The plant sounds are generated by midi and by the plants own bio-energetic changes that occur in response to its environment. At times the plant responds to touch and other times it seems to respond to vibrations of the harp. The plant weaves its sounds in and out with the harp, increasing and decreasing its input into the shared musical space.
